Dr. Daniele Uzes has received extensive training and is highly specialized in acupuncture orthopedics, physical medicine, and pain management. Dr. Uzes uses integrative acupuncture techniques and various other modalities to assess and treat neuromuscular pain conditions which include sports injury, acute and chronic pain, injury rehabilitation and prevention, and post-surgical pain and swelling.
A short list of conditions that she has experience of successfully addressing includes: low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, tennis and golfer's elbow, radiculitis, radiculopathy, numbness and tingling sensations, carpal tunnel, headaches, migraines, tendonitis, tendinopathy, rotator cuff tears/injury, ACL injury, various types of knee pain, sprained ankles, and fractured ankle/foot.
Dr. Uzes uses various modalities in the treatment of neuro-muscular pain including: trigger point needling therapy, manual acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, cross-fiber massage, guasha/spoon technique, auriculotherpay (ear acupuncture), herbs and nutrition.

Dr. Daniele Uzes- Education, Background, and Volunteer Work
Dr. Uzes earned her doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in 2017. She earned her Master's degree in 2010 and has been a licensed acupuncturist and primary care provider in the state of California since May of 2011. Her education includes extensive training in biomedicine, orthopedics and physical medicine, acupuncture techniques, herbal therapies, dietetics, and massage. In 2013, Dr. Uzes completed her Doctorate in Medical QiGong from the International Institute of Medical Qigong in Monterey, California.
In the past, Dr. Uzes volunteered at Janus of Santa Cruz teaching meditation and Qi Gong classes to individuals receiving drug and alcohol rehabilitation. She has also volunteered at Yayasan Bumi Sehat, an all natural birthing and health clinic, in Bali, Indonesia. There she worked as an intern treating pregnant women and their families and providing doula services to mothers in labor.
Dr. Uzes is also continuing her education in a 2-year certification course that provides advanced clinical training in integrative acupuncture orthopedics and physical medicine.
In her practice, Dr. Uzes strives to help patients improve their overall quality of life. In her free time, she is an avid surfer, aerial dancer, and snowboarder. She is also very passionate about international volunteer work and travel.
